Twilight & Downtown Disney check in's

Can anyone tell me when twilight check in is open until (or what time it opens from_ we plan to use this for the first time next month to avoid some of the queues on the Friday morning.

I take it that DTD check in still has not re-opened - does anyone know if they operate a twilight check in in Orlando or from what time we can check in on the day of our flight home - we would like to get rid of the cases as early as poss so that we can go and have some fun before our flight!!!!

Twlight check-in is 3-9pm. DTD check-in, I'm sure I read, is not opening because of the American security angle - guess the bags are left unattended for quite a while and therefore could be got-at-able?
