You'll have to excuse me, but this is a really stupid question. We plan to use to use Twilight check in when we fly, so we'll have a relaxed morning on the day we fly out.

Just wondering, as we have already checked in the night before, do we still have to be at the airport 2-3 hours before?, or can we just go to Departures say 1 hour before.

Sorry to be a bit dense.

I don't know cause i haven't got my virgin brochure with me (i'm at work!!) but would think it would tell you in there. If you are travelling with Virgin don't bother phoning them cause they will make you sound really daft. I phoned them yesterday with similar query: if i did "check-in on line" 24 hours in advance were seats allocated and did i have to turn up 3 hours before. I still am not sure what the answer was!! :cheer2:

One hour or so before will be fine. We got there 1.5 hours before the flight to allow for a little shopping!

When you twilight check in you'll get your boarding card so that will have the time on it when you are supposed to go through to boarding, this is generally 1- 1 1/2 hours before your take off, theoretically you can go through 3/4 hour prior to take off but you run a huge risk of missing your flight or any vital information such as a change of boarding gate etc

Not a stupid question at all! :grouphug:

We still get there 3-4 hours before as for us, looking around the airport and shopping is the start of the holiday.
