Twilight check in query.

Sorry if this has been answered before but I just cant get the search to work.

Have now booked 12 nights in Pop Century, flying with Virgin for end April / beginning of May. We will be taking a baby car seat, booster seat and buggy with us, which I understand will be carried free of charge, but will be checked luggage. My question is, if we do twilight check-in will we have to check in all the luggage ie the baby's car seat, or can we keep the car seat with us to use that night and check it in seperately next day? Not had this problem before because with our older son, we have always had a spare booster seat, so checked one in and kept other in car. Not an option with the baby car seat this time however due to severe lack of space in the car!

Firstly, congrats on booking your vacation, it's exciting isn't it? Yes you can keep your buggie and check it in before you fly, even if you use twilight check in for the rest of your luggage.

I can never get the search engine to work either, You just ramble away, we have a lot of ramblers here Me included

Thanks! Is it also ok to check car seat in 'late' as well as buggy? Dont wanna be told we cant take it coz we didnt check it in at the right time!

Hmmm not sure, if you are in any boubt, just give the airport/airline you are using a ring or e-mail them.

I think you'd have to queue up again to check seat in. Might defeat the object of twilight check-in

It does seem to defeat the object, but reason I want to do twilight is to try and make sure we get a skycot. Not allowed to do online check-in with a baby (I think) and dont have a printer to print confirmation anyway! Am I right in thinking that only one of us would have to queue up the following day?

when we did twilight check in we kept the buggy and they took it from us as we boarded the plane to put in the hold, im not sure if they would let you do this with seat as well, maybe u could ask.
