I just wanted to update since some posters mentioned some of the stores weren't budget. DD and I went shopping today. First we went to Plato's Closet--WOW!! I spent $79 and got:
2 pair Aeropostle jeans
1 Roxy hoody
2 Aeropostle tees
1 Aeropostle polo
1 off-brand cute long sleeve tee
1 off-brand denim capris (brand new)
I was really pleased. Then we went to the mall. I didn't go to most of the stores mentioned, but I went to Macy's where they were having a 1 day sale and got two shirts to layer for $9 apiece and Penney's where I got DD two tees and a cami and a pair of denim capris for me, I spent $47 there. Oh and I took advantage of Victoria Secret's 5 for $25 sale on panties and got DD some Pink panties (and they were cute, covered everything, no thongs
).
Overall I'm pleased with what we bought and I think I'm only going to buy bras and socks until after school starts and I see what shoes she wants and what else she needs.
