We have 4.
One in the living room (29 inch)
One in the family room (29 inch)
One in the spare bedroom (19 inch, used to be the master bedroom and we just left it as it was when the addtion was built.)
40 inch LCD HD flat pannel in the master bedroom. We love it. I love that it is in the new bedroom and "hidden". When we do movie nights we all hang out in there and the kids lay on pillows on the floor (it is a BIG room.)
All cable hooked up and DVD or VCR. (expect spare room.)
I am suprized how many people have T.V.s in the kids room. My DD wants one but that isn't going to happen. Really there are only 4 rooms with out a T.V in it in our house, the office, Kicten, finished basment (playroom) and the girls room. I like not having a T.V. in the kids room and playroom. Incourages more imagiative play. Yes we have rules and permison for T.V., DVD's and Videos. However it seems to me that it is on more then off.
I didn't have T.V. growing up. My mom took it away when my 3 older brothers started to pretend they were the 3 stooges. We got one when I was 16 and my Grandmother died (we got hers.) DH grew up with the thing on 24-7. They wachted T.V. for dinner. I didn't like that it but sure seems to be on more at dinner time then I would like. (I need to put my foot down.)
