I know this might sound odd, does anyone have any pictures or know what the connections on the back of the tvs are at Bay Lake? We're planning on being there in December, and I want to see if we can somehow record the sound coming out of the tvs for the firework shows and for WDW today channel. We're staying in a theme park view room, and I know that the normally would pipe the soundtrack from the fireworks shows into the room.

While I can't help you with the connections, I can tell you that, in my experience, the fireworks audio piped in through the TV's at BLT has been abysmal. I don't know whether it's the signal or the speakers though. You might be okay if the former, but I suspect it's a problem with the signal because the bad sound has occurred on multiple TVs for me.

While the music was available on the TV, the sound was awful when we tried to hear it on the balcony. Our pajamas and adult beverages made it better.

You can find the music on YouTube. Some people try to "time" the music to the fireworks.

Seriously! The sound was so bad, I was really disappointed as seeing the fireworks from BLT and the Contemporary is such a huge draw. They really need to address this problem.

My wife and I were giddy, however. It was so much fun. We had a gigantic 2-bedroom theme park view room all to ourselves on July 4. We pulled the seats up to the huge windows, got out our drinks and into our Jammies, and had the time of our lives! In addition to MK, you could see fireworks everywhere on the horizon for most of the night. Great memory.
