Do they have cartoon network on the Magic? Also, is there a way to hook up XBOX or a portable DVD player to the TV's in the regular cabins (not suites). Thanks so much. Tried to search and search the boards for the answers but didn't find it.

I did find some old threads that said no to the XBOX or DVD player hook-ups but I was wondering if it changed in the past few years.

I do not know about XBox, I didn't look that closely sorry. But I do remember my son watching cartoonnetwork at some point. I think I watched with him for a bit. They also have ABC and CNN as well as some other channels.

One of the channels onboard used to be (and probably still is there) is what we call "All Disney - All The Time". They play Disney animated movies "all of the time". When I say "all of the time" I really mean that a new movie starts every other hour. Most Disney movies run about 90 minutes so the last 1/2 hour or so there is a "blank" screen - probably telling you what the next movie is and how long before it starts.

watching disney movies was the best = we always had one on while in the stateroom

enjoy

There are Play Station 2 games in the Lab and Stack. Under "What's New" on the DCL site, it says that they just added 7 new TV channels.

They did not have Cartoon network the last time we sailed (about 6 months ago.) They did have a 24 hour Disney movie channel, 24 hour other movie channel, Disney channel, BBC, CNN, etc......

I know that disney hooked up a vcr to the TV using the input video and audio jack. (At the time we were on deck 7) I do not know if all tvs on the boat have that jack but considering the age of the ship, I believe all tvs made in the past 5 years have had those jacks on them. I am not certain about the X-box hook up. but I would bet the DVD player would work, they use the same jacks as a vcr would.
