TV Monitor Rental?

Hello. I work for a non-profit and we have a small presentation at the Dolphin in early September as part of a larger conference. What is the best way to get a monitor/TV that we can use to connect to a laptop in order to display our powerpoint presentation? Renting one would cost $275 plus fees. Shipping our TV from Wisconsin and back, plus handling fees, will also add up. Is there another option? A DIS share of monitors perhaps?

I can't speak for your conference, but the conferences I help run arrange all that.

Have you checked to see if the room you are presenting in has the equipment already? Usually conference rooms are set up with screens and projectors for power point presentations.

We are just part of an "expo" - so we are only given a table. We will be bringing a laptop with us, but would like a larger monitor so that more people can see it at once.

The only other thing I can think of is actually buying one at a store when you get there (will you have a car?) since you can get a nice size one around $150 now. The only thing is, what would you do with it when you left?

Even though the rental fee is high, it might be your easiest and best choice.

That is what we did in Arizona last year and then it was carried back on the plane back....wasn't sure if Orlando had more options And knowing this DIS group is savvy...I thought I'd try!
