TV Commercial for Flex Steel Liquid Sealant

Anyone use this? Does it work? We have a pipe from our hot water tank that is up in the ceiling that is leaking a little water where two pipes are saudered together. Wondering if this would be a fix that would by me a little time without having to get a plumber with the holidays approaching? Can anyone vouch for this product?

go to the hardware store and get two shark bite fitting and a piece of copper or pex and cut the leak out and replace yourself. You can fix it for less than $15

I wish. I am not married to a handy man he can do NOTHING!! In fact when he tries to fix things he usually gets mad and breaks it further and it costs me more to get repaired then if I just had it fixed to begin with. Now spraying a spray can he can do.ha

And me I'm no better. I'm not a handy woman either :-(

with the shark bite fittings anyone can do it. you would be suprised how easy it is the worst would be cutting out the leak.

If it doesn't fit, force it.
If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway...

DH just used Spray Sealant Leak Repair on a slow leak from our pipes. He had to give it about 7 coats on a completely dry pipe. I just checked. It still leaks. I guess DH is very much like the husband previously mentioned.

Thanks this is what I wanted to know!! Guess I will find somone on the side who is handy that can handle this job with shark bites. It's not my DH. He wouldn't even know how the heck to cut the pipe? We have no tools :-( My poor son, how will he learn? He'll be just as clueless as his dad who's just as clueless as DFIL
