Does anyone know when How the Grinch Stole Christmas is on TV, the original cartoon version with Boris Karloff?

I wish I could find a schedule of all the specials.

You can get some info on the ABC Family website. I don't know if they are showing the Grinch but they have a listing of a lot of good ol favorites. :thumbsup2

If you don't like Christmas Specials, don't go to Cartoon Network. When I was younger I would be watching a show, and then Grandma Got Runover By A Reindeer came on. I thought "This is nice, I'll watch it." Next day How The Grinch Stole Christmas again I thought "This is good." Next day Grandma Got Runover By A Reindeer I was thinking "Wait? Didn't they have this on two nights ago?" The next day again Grandma Got Runover By A Reindeer. I thougth "Forgot Cartoon Network! I'm not watching this show every single night! "

Unfortunately, Charlie Brown Christmas has already been on :( They ran it on ABC on Tuesday night, way too soon IMO

Why would they play a Christmas movie in November? :confused3 They should play Christmas movie in December. Right after we have Thanksgiving we'll be watching a Christmas movie. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense.

I'm pretty sure ABC Family is only showing the live action/Jim Carrey Grinch. Every year I have trouble finding the cartoon and usually miss it. I know I can just buy the DVD, but it's not the same if I can watch it any time I want. I know, I'm strange.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas is on ABC Family channel in Sunday Dec. 17th at 8pm ET. Also, same channel, there is a holiday classics Marathon on Sat. Dec. 9th from 9am to 7pm!

I just double checked. If you hover over the title, it shows the Jim Carrey Grinch, not the cartoon.

How about the "Nutcracker" plays on TV? I remember they used to show one every year but I can't find any info! :guilty: I've never seen a "Live" one at the theater so maybe this is the year! :yay:

I caught How the Grinch Stole Christmas (the original) 3 times before Thanksgiving even came.

Really? What channel?

It took a lot of searching, but I finally found it.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas: 40th Anniversary Special
Tuesday, December 12th 8:00pm ABC 60min TV-G

Dr. Seuss's classic tale about the grouchy Grinch is followed by a look at the show's creation. Included: comments from creator Theodore “Dr. Seuss” Geisel and animator Chuck Jones.

They also do the 25 days of Christmas on one of the channels...
We watched Harry Potter last night.. :cool1:
