Tuxes from After Hours?!

So we want to rent our tuxes from After Hours and get them delivered to the Poly... went into the local store a few weeks ago to pick out the style we wanted. I told them that we are an out of town wedding and I have the contact info of someone that I place the order with directly (Linda, whose info I found from people on another thread).. they insisted on setting it up through the store that it would be easier, but the guy was so pushy that I said okay well I'll come in later to put the deposit down...............................

Anyway, so I emailed Linda about 2 weeks ago, and then called and left a message 1 week ago. Still haven't heard anything... should I just wait? try again? just have my local store set it up? and if I set it up through the local store, which Orlando area After Hours is it? There are 3 listed in their catalogue:

1) Altamonte Mall
2) Fashion Square Mall
3) Florida Mall

I'm also curious to know the answer to this question because our groomsmen are already starting to ask about getting their tuxes.

I would contact the one you want directly. Sounds like someone local is wanting the commission to me. Typically when a salesperson works for a chain store, the person that "takes" the order gets the sale, hence, the commission, and then they transfer the order to the other store to deliver. Personally, I would cut out the middle man and reduce your chances for errors. The more people you have passing information, the more chance of a problem. Remember the whisper the secret game we all played as kids ?? The story was NO where near the same by the time it made it around the circle. Good luck !

I just wanted to add that there is another After Hours that is closer to WDW than the ones you have listed. It's in Winter Garden on 50 (W. Colonial Dr.). I can't really give advice on your question as we are local and haven't gotten to that step yet. But I would try the Winter Garden After Hours since it's much closer to WDW. I'm pretty sure that one was listed on the sheet Disney gave me.

Sort of a funny story for you...

There is a Fashion Square Mall here in Virginia. It's in Charlottesville. That's where me and the DF went to get him measured for his tux. We told them that we were getting in Florida and they asked where we wanted to pick up the tuxes. I told them the Florida Mall, since that (other than the Mall at Millenia) was the only one I knew how to get to. They laughed and said that they hoped I did not say Fashion Square because they have had issues with that store and not having the tuxes ready. I hope that you get it all figured out and get a chuckle out of this post and not to worry.

The one on 50 is the actual storage house and not in a mall (go with them as they can make quick changes if needed)...we had a horrid time with them...(we are local) and most of our groomsmen lived around town so they went to different ones to get fitted....all the tuxes ended up the wrong sizes and at Fashion Square event though most ordered from Altamonte and we requested they end up at 50...funny but frustrating for the boys....

I thought it was weird when you said you had no response from Linda when I've never had a problem. This email I just received from her probably explains why she hasn't been answering:
