Plus, what really made me love Tutto and Via Napoli is that last trip my DH and I were celebrating our 25th Anniversary (I noted this on 8 TS ressies) and those 2 are the only restaurants that acknowledged it. They both sang to us in Italian, it was very romantic.

We loved our meal there. It felt elegant, we could hear each other talk and service was top notch. The bread service was nice. 5 large green olives with olive oil. Breadsticks along with soft focasia. I had the stuffed pork chop with fontina and proscuttio. If I was not in public, I would have licked the bone clean. It was served over roasted potatoes. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs. He said he was full but kept eating. I had a chocolate panda cotta and he had a trio of sorbets for dessert. Highly recommended.
We also loved Alfredo's and were crushed when it went away. It was very likely our family's all time favorite restaurant. Not just in WDW, but anywhere.
We were relieved when we finally got to try TI. It was very close in quality to 'Fredo's.

Seems that a number of people didn't "get" Alfredo's. It wasn't what they expected, so "it sucked." There were many threads here on the Dis comparing Alfredo's to Olive Garden.
My hunch is that it, and Tutto Italia, are closer to authentic Italian cuisine than what we've come to expect. I like the Americanized versions of these dishes too, but I'm up for something a little different once in a while.
