Usually we would do the Prix Fixe Lunch at France but since they have done away with a separate lunch menu we decided to give Tutto Italia a try. We have dined here before and have always enjoyed the food but found the service to be a little bit snooty, but not this trip! From the moment we were greeted at the door until we departed overfed and very happy, everyone was friendly and attentive!!!!
We arrived a few minutes early and were seated immediately. The bread service arrived shortly after we were seated and consisted of breadsticks, homemade bread, olives and dipping oil....all very tasty. We were traveling home by car after lunch so we stuck with soft drinks.
I ordered the antipasto and DH chose the caprese and we shared. Both were nice sized lunch portions and while we enjoyed them both, we both preferred the antipasto.
We both ordered the spaghetti with veal meatballs. This was also a nice size portion and the veal meatballs were so good!!! A neighboring table ordered the fish entree and salads which also looked very nice.
We both chose the cannoli for desert....I know we should have ordered two different options, but we both love cannoli! This was also yummy, but I was so full, it was difficult to finish, but I managed all but a bite or two.
So, to sum it up, the service was great and the food was outstanding and we would highly recommend giving this a try while it is around. It would be great to see it last longer than just through the summer. I may have enjoyed it even more than the no longer available France lunch option!!!!
