Tutto italia portion sizes and outdoor seating question

This might sound silly but I am looking for a good Italian restaurant that serves spaghetti and meatballs and doesn't have way too big portion sizes. I really, really don't like throwing away food and I like to save space for dessert later in the night. Can anybody tell me how the portions were at Tutto Itallia? Also, are the hostess and waiters bothered if you want to wait for an outdoor table? We did this at portobello once and they were pretty rude about it. We ended up sitting in a crowd of people and the food wasn't even that great so I wasn't that happy with them.

It's been a few years, but I'm recalling the portions are pretty hearty at TI. Perhaps you could split an order, and augment with appetizers?

You can get half portions at Il Mulino. Just a short walk or boat ride from EPCOT. Much better food but not on the DDP if that is an issue.

Thanks for the reply. My mom and I usually do split an order. She doesn't always like to do it at fancy restaurants though (she's afraid of the waiter thinking they are getting cheated in a tip with only one meal), and we end up one of us getting an entree salad, and the other the "real entree." Appetizers can be a little scary because sometimes they have come out to the table big enough for a group of 5 or 6. I've found trip advisor and yelp photos to not be the best way to determine how big the food really is. Oh well, hopefully it will be the right amount of food if we share.

Thanks, I will look into Il Mulino. I was afraid not being on DDP it wouldn't have a disney feel, but it gets such good reviews.
