DH and I are headed to WDW in November and plan to do an Italian meal(lunch or dinner). I was wondering which of the 2 is better for pasta entrees. We are on the DDP(free) so cost is not an issue. We ate at MM on our last trip for lunch and enjoyed it, but we only had salad and the flatbread.
Thanks :cool1:

Definitely Tutto Italia!! It is fantastic and blows away Mamma Melrose.
And I use to be a big fan of Mamma Melrose, but the last few times we went we didn't like it. We have been to Tutto Italia many times and it is always great. Great food, service and atmosphere. The food is so fresh and you can't beat their home made pasta! We will be there again for dinner in Nov.:thumbsup2

Thanks for the info.By the way DH and I were friends first too.

We've never been to MM, but Tutto is wonderful. One of the best WDW meals we've had. Link to a review in my signature. :)

As long as your not paying OOP I'd definitely opt for Tutto Italia over Mamma Melrose. We are not fans of Mamma's cuisine at all, but have thoroughly enjoyed our Tutto meals.

I would also go to Tutto. I love their lasanga, and the profriteroles for dessert are the best dessert I've had on Disney propery.

I have eaten at Mama Melrose's several times over the years, and I've found it to be very inconsistent. It's easy the best meal of my trip or the biggest diappointment every time I go there.

I have eaten at both many times. Tutto Italia for sure. That has been one of the best meals I've had. Mama Melrose is good- more of like a chain type italian restaurant. I'd compare it to a Macaroni Grill if you've ever been to one of those.

If you can get a Fantasmic package I vote Mama's, but in your case it doesn't sound like a factor, here.

Next, comparing Tutto with the other Epcot WS restaurants makes it a harder choice to go there. I know you said Italian, but I'd rather pick some other places like Le Cellier or Teppan Edo when in Epcot.

If you are going to Magic Kingdom then I would put Tony's in the mix, too.

Since you've been to Mama's I'd vote Tutto just to go to a new place, if those are the only two choices.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.
Tutto is the choice:goodvibes
Bete,
Thanks for the suggestion of Teppan Edo. I'll look over the menu to see if it will appeal to DH:;)
We booked the trip only 60+ days out so LeCelliar dinner hasn't worked yet.
I am checking periodically to see if something opens up,if not we may try lunch when we are there.Due to work schedules we are both in the habit of eating lunch around 11:30am so maybe we will be lucky.
