Tutto Italia or Grand Floridian Cafe

Which would you choose?
We are staying at the GF, so GFC has that extra added convenience, but I don't know much about it.

I don't know a whole lot about TI either.

Any thoughts?

Hi,
The GF cafe is one of our favorite places for breakfast and lunch. Very friendly CMs. Eggs Benedict are the best we've ever tasted. Sandwiches are huge, and the shrimp caesar is delicious - lots of shrimp. We've never tried the Cafe for dinner.

Tutto Italia is more upgrade (expensive). Our experience at late lunch was mixed. Food was excellent, but service was much too fast. The restaurant seemed to be very hectic. We'll probably give it one more chance, but our first impression was not any improvement over Alfredo's.
Food should not appear, at an Italian restaurant, that one feels it is being served from steam tables.

So many choices - so little time. But we try.

Haven't tried TI yet but we LOVE the GFC!! We eat there often. I LOVE their Cobb Salad it is SOOO good (big salad w/ pieces of avacado, turkey, egg, etc)

I just had dinner at both places last week. While the food is excellent at either place, I agree with the last post about it being very hectic at Tutto Italia. It was very busy and I felt like I was being rushed to eat. Since you are staying at the GF, I would only eat at TI if you really want Italian food or if you are going to be at EPCOT, otherwise the GF Cafe was much more relaxing.

I think it would actually require some effort to get over to Italy for dinner. After going in the pool in the afternoon. It might be nice to just take a relaxing stroll to a nice relaxing dinner.

We haven't tried TI yet, because we always seem to say, we can have Italian food at home anytime.

You are definitely helping me make up my mind.... Thanks so much!

I hear alot of good things about GFC, if you want Italian food there is also Mama Melrose and Tonys
