We have lunch ressies in July for Tutto Italia.:lovestruc

What should I order? What's the best? I keep reading about some pasta with peas (but there seem to be TWO of them. Which one??) or the tiramisu. I'd love some good advice!

It will be me, my DH and my 2 kiddies.pirate:princess:

What about appetizers? We'll be on the regular DDP but I don't mind paying OOP for that.

Thanks!:goodvibes

What's "best" is subjective; what you should order is whatever looks/sounds best to you based on description; and you can order the pasta with peas and tiramisu if you want, since the latter is a dessert.

Yeah, I know - no help :) But I don't like peas.

I bet you're talking about the buccatini pasta dish. I have never had it, but pics of it look SO good, all creamy/cheesy/crusty top. And it does have those peas in it. This is what I would order if I were dining there, hands down! ;)

I suggest everyone get something different and share. Try the caprese (sliced tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella) as an appetizer. It is a staple here.

My daughter had Bucitini Gratinati which she loved and I tried...delicious! I ordered the Cannelloni al Forno...amazing, but I'm not sure if that's on the lunch menu. We ate there for dinner. It seems like one of those restaurants where anything you order will be great! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the replies. I think everything sounds wonderful... but I'm such a pasta person so I think I'd order one of those over the meat/fish dishes.

Anyone else have any experience there?:)

Last year I had the Penne Caprese. Very good!! It was very simple and I like simple. Penne pasta, tomatoes, and mozzarella.

The Sacchetti (pasta pillows) looks good. My daughters are going to try this when we go this July. It's like ravioli. There's a picture of it on the new food picture thread somewhere near the end of the thread.

We've eaten here twice and always enjoy the food.
