Oh the Fairies! That is a MUST for us since my DD is obsessed with Tinkerbell at the moment.

You two need a certificate. You are the first people to ever meet at Disney for a vacation. That should go in the record books.

I found this thread yesterday after asking Jenjolt where her TR was from her May trip. You guys are so much fun to read about!! I'm all caught up now. Problem is, I want to read all of your fans' TRs and your new PTR too! Is there a limit on how many threads to which one can subscribe?

Great stuff - I look forward to hearing about the rest of the trip. It is really exciting and inspiring to read about how good of a friend we can find on these boards and how you were able to meet up and spend a vacation together!

Two things -
Tinkerbell snot!!! - my dds will have to hear that one! We met both Tink and Lady T and stepsisters last trip. They'll get a kick out of that!

Manatees - my kids have a Veggie Tales video in which Larry the cucumber sings a song about how he loves this TV character called Barbara Manatee (yes she's a manatee). They watched it two days ago and have been singing it ever since! Of course, one of them thought the words were "colonel manatee" for some odd reason!

Seriously, have the faries never met anyone travelling together who were from 2 different state?

I GUESS the whole "we met on the internet" is a little strange for those who have never done it before (I never have before the DIS and I don't frequent any other similar sites) It just seems so natural now that I am a part of it.

Am I the only one who secretly hoped Nobby would have pulled the sword out of the stone?

Glad to see the report for Pixie Hallow. I had to skip it last time because the lines were long, so I'll probably have to be there at opening next time I'm at MK. Can't wait to see it in person.

Did you see any little girls dressed as fairies at Pixie Hollow? I bought my 2 y/o DD a very cute non-Disney Store Tinkerbell outfit (complete with green Chucks -how cute is that?) and I was planning on letting her wear her Tink ensemble to MK on our first day.

I still love Rosetta and think she is a Southern Belle but seriously that made for one very awkward moment and what was worse was that it seemed every character that morning was asking where we were from and that it was so weird that two friends had come together for a trip....I wonder if we will get the same response in Sept LOL!! I surely hope not!! This time we can say we are here to celebrate friendship and birthdays LOL! OTTV!

That picture of Nobby pulling the sword from the stone is adorable I love it!! I need to get a copy of that...should totally go into his scrapbook at some point!!!

It was really awkward! And we tried to just say that we were friends and they couldn't fathom that we could live in 2 different states. Speaking of Nobby's scrapbook....I really need to dig that out. Bad LL!

Awesome pictures with the fairies! That Tink is beyond perky, isn't she? Can you imagine having her role if you're feeling irritable? How odd that they wouldn't let your answer go. Love Nobby with the sword in the stone.

It was really odd, if that had been me I would have let it go, obviously we didn't want to get into it.

Great update. I dont get why the characters kept asking how you met? Were they joking with you-thats just weird.

They weren't really joking. They'd ask us how we knew each other and then where we lived and it went downhill from there.

No lines at all for the princesses! I kinda feel bad for them. I do think they need to spruce up their area though, it's a little sad.

You know, I don't think I saw any in the line dressed up but we did see a few tinkerbells running around Disney. They were very cute! I think it's a great idea for meeting them!

I would suggest getting there before the rope drops at Toon Town at 10AM, I think they drop it early on somedays and I want to make sure you don't have a super long wait!
