Has anyone had the turkey wrap and corn chowder at Tusker House? Did the corn chowder have meat in it?

I had the Turkey Wrap last December and it was the worst thing I have ever had while eating inside WDW. 1st it was served cold (every restaurant I have had a wrap in they serve it hot) and 2nd instead of giving 2 halfs after cutting it, they only gave 1 half. (Every other place I order a wrap they serve both halfs after cutting it.) Anyway after eating it I was so hungry and went to Pizzafari and ordered myself a Cheese Pizza which did fill me up. As for the soup I don't think it had meat inside it, but the one thing I will say it was the only good part of a very disappointing meal. So if I were you I would not order this because it was such a terrible thing to eat.

I love the corn chowder. It's one of the things I always get on any WDW trip. No meat, just lots of corn and chunks of potatoe.

I believe you can order only the corn chowder if you want, even though it is not stated seperately on the menu board. DW orders only the green beans at TH sometimes--along with some carrot cake. Her idea of a "veggie" meal!

I guess I am in the minority here - but I love the turkey wrap and I really really love the corn chowder. The wrap is served cold but I still think it is very good. The corn chowder is incredible and there is no meat in it. Very rich and warm and filling. My favorite meal at the AK!

I love the wrap and chowder. I was surprised the first time they gave me half, because I swear the year before it was a whole. The chowder is incredible. Best soup! Our kids always ask for a side of it, it is that good.

I'll join you Anne! I also thought the turkey wrap was great - a nice break from burgers and pizza - and the corn chowder was excellent.

I guess it may be regional, but deli turkey wraps are served cold around here, so that's just what I expected.

Hmm a 50/50 split. I was actually thinking of getting the wrap without the turkey. I guess if the wrap is already questionable, though, it wouldn't be very good with just lettuce in it.

Oh well. It's always a challenge deciding where/what to eat at Animal Kingdom. I hear the veggie sandwich at Tusker House isn't so good. I've done Pizzafari before and sometimes I just get a smoothie and a pretzel and wait til I get back to the hotel.

Thanks for the info everyone!
