tusker house warning

I completely understand the frustration. I love breakfast and my DD20 is not too into it. We tried to do this as a late BK last trip with hopes of the switch over. Well..... read the boards.... made decisions and due to projected delay in seating, made ADR approximately 20 minutes than original plans. I guess that day they were running late at the switch over so after an additional 15 minutes of waiting for the lunch food (It's now approximately 1130)- I grabbed more BK food and called it a day. I get concerned for later buffet times towards end of seating because of food replenishment etc. Now I know my situation above is not the same as OP's but, it's a give a take when planning a later buffet(especially with any restaurant that has the quick changeover and known wait times). The only way I can think of for quicker turn overs at the character buffets is less character interaction time ( 1 photo or autograph per table?)- no one would be happy with something like that. Doesnt TH have some sort of dance thing with the characters too? Just thinking out load. Not sure what the person at the podium explained to OP or what questions were asked? If my eye was on breakfast, I would have been monitoring it like a hawk and making sure there were foods there that we wanted to wait for It's hard with kids too. As mentioned, got the cheaper meal cost, maybe TH should switch to a brunch? I think at that point in OPs trip, they were completely irritated and I can understand. it's hard not to get this under your skin and let it impact the rest of your day. We've had many issues at Disney and now they just seem to rectify things with additional Fast Passes. Not sure if that would have pacified. I think their thought is that this helps to make the rest of your day better. I believe if OP would have gone to guest services at the park and spoke with a manager there that's what would have been done.

Agreed, but the OP stated they were able to eat breakfast. They booked breakfast and then they had it. I'm honestly not seeing the problem here. If they had booked breakfast and were then forced to eat only lunch items due to the restaurants late seating, that would be different. But the OP already said they ate breakfast.

I think the problem here is their disappointment in not having the breakfast items that are advertised. They did eat breakfast, but it wasn' t the breakfast they had planned. I know if I booked a restaurant like Cape May specifically for their crab legs and when I got there, they didn't have them, it would be a disappointment. At that time, if I decided not to eat there, I would probably be charged the 10 per person fee.

That actually happened not too long ago--for a while Cape May didn't serve any crab legs. Which is probably why no menu is guaranteed ahead of time. "Menu items and prices are subject to change without notice".
