Tusker House question

I know most Disney restaurants are very accommodating but as this is a buffet I am asking. My wife, due to medical reasons, just eats basically grilled chicken or fish and salad. Does anyone know if they could accommodate something like this. I want to go but want to make sure she can enjoy as well

We love Tusker House, but I have never seen grilled chicken or fish as a buffet selection. I would call and put in a special dining / dietary need rather than expect them to be able to accommodate something 'day of' that may not be on the menu or in-house. They do have carved meats... beef or ham is what I've seen most often. Their salads have been very good, but again, a matter of preference or need, in your case. Again, just give Disney a call. I've never had any problem in discussing these kinds of things prior to a trip.

I remember them having some salmon at one time - it was actually on the breakfast. This was a while ago though. I remember it though because they hadn't had it previously, but my mom was very happy. I have no idea if they have it now, but it's not listed in the breakfast options. They have tandoori chicken for lunch/dinner, but that does have spices on it, so that may not work.

Not sure what your wife's dietary needs are exactly. I would defiantly call ahead and ask if she can be accommodated. I found the food wonderful. It was healthy, flavorful with lots of fresh herbs and veggies. The salads were fantastic! If you were gluten free I would not be concerned at all. I am allergic to corn and asked about corn / corn syrup. Except for a few desserts nothing had corn syrup in it. A few dishes had fresh corn. Hope this helps.
