I'm sure this has been asked many times before me but I didn't see a thread on it.

We chose to do the TH/nemo seating at 130 for the 315 show.
My parent's are more relaxed eaters and take their time and we also have my child who will be in a medical stroller. Reason why we chose to do this so we wouldn't be in line so long. Any bit helps especially since I have MS.

We have never ate at TH or seen Nemo before. Could anyone tell be the time/space relation between the two and if in their opinion we would have plenty of time to get to Nemo.

My thought process is if our ADR is for 130 we'll be in by 2. Pushing my parent's along leave by 245 will we get to the show on time. I feel as though we will be pushing it and I should try for 1 pm ADR's instead with the idea of getting in by 130 and not pushing my parent's and leaving by 230 for Nemo.

Any opinions would be great as I am over thinking everything to much and don't want to try to change plans that could work fine.

For the 3:15 show reservations need to be between 1 - 1:45. I would recommend a reservation time at 1 PM or as soon after as possible. As long as you're finished by 2:30, you'll be okay. We had a 1:15 res, but didn't get seated until 1:35. After eating we headed straight to the theater and got there around 3.

If you keep the 1:30 reservation and are seated on time you'll finish by 2:30, but if you're seated late, you won't have a leisurely lunch. Watching the clock and pushing your parents to hurry up and eat wouldn't be enjoyable.

Also the Nemo theater is at the opposite end of the park in Dinoland so it'll take time to get there. You'll enter through a separate door, but getting in at the last minute you might not get very good seats.

I would also try for as close to 1pm as possible. Also, I'd get there early to check in.

Just a note since you mentioned the special needs stroller...they usually have all strollers and ECVs parked down the hill by the bar. When I took DD (teen, uses a manual wheelchair), the host asked (in a cranky tone) if she could leave her chair by the bar. Um...NO! Because then she cannot move anywhere!

Anyway, this was the only place we had a problem, and it could have just been the host was having an off moment. Just wanted to give you the heads up.

I looked into bumping up the ADR to 1 or 105 but then our party may be split up. Which isn't what we would like. I also read that maybe we should forgo this and just try for the first show of the day. What should I do?

thanks for your responses

that "split up" comment appears on many, many reservations... including those for a party of 2! LOL! i would go w/the earlier time, it is extremely highly unlikely that you will be split up (unless you are a party of 10+, but even then, TH's tables are set up so they can easily be moved to accommodate large parties)... if you opt to keep the 1:30ADR, i would still get there early, as they don't seat according to ADR time as much as time you arrive...

In 2009, we did the TH/Nemo seating package. Through a long series of events (primarily due to food allergies), we arrived at Nemo about 10 minutes before the show was to start, and weren't allowed to use the Nemo seating. (We would up standing in the very back row.)

In 2010, we tried the package again. At check-in (for a 1:00 p.m. ADR), I explained what had happened the year before, and asked the CM what could be done if we left TH close to the start of Nemo. The CM told me that if, when we were ready to leave TH we didn't think we would have adequate time to get to Nemo and utilize the seating option, to return to the TH check-in podium, and they would exchange our seating vouchers for the next showing of Nemo.

We did finish in adequate time, so did not need to exchange our vouchers. Not sure if this is still done, but it was an option in July 2010.
