Tusker House or Flame Tree?

For lunch on our AK day, I'm trying to decide between Tusker House or Flame Tree BBQ. We've ate at Flame Tree before & enjoyed it, I know it's a QS & Tusker House is a TS. Never ate at Tusker House for lunch though.
Which would you do?

Tusker House is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Disney. Starting on December 4th Tusker House will have characters at both breakfast and lunch, so be aware of this if you book. There will be Donald, Daisy, Mickey, and Goofy. I just booked the new character lunch there for December 8th.

That being said, I do love Flame Tree as well. The food is always good and you can get a seat outside with some amazing views. We will probably stop by there for a quick dinner the same day we do Tusker House.

we are doing both!! tusker house breakfast at 8:15 then flame tree for a later lunch. th is our favorite character breakfast and we love the secluded seating areas at ft plus the bbq chicken salad is yummy!!

I already have an ADR for Tusker House for breakfast on our AK day. I was just trying to decide on lunch. I know they have the characters for lunch when we go as well, I was debating this before that was announced, lol. I like the look of the menu at TH @ lunch & I know we like FT. I'd do dinner at FT except I have an ADR at 1900 Park Fare that evening that I want to keep.
There are just too many different places I want to eat this trip! Wonder if I could talk DH into AK on our arrival day for lunch at TH......

I was going to say Tusker House. We like the variety but won't be returning if it's going to be a character meal.
