We are not early breakfast people but have ADR's at 8:00 for both so I want to cancel one of them. My girls are 3 and 5. We are also doing Crystal Palace lunch and Storybook Princess lunch. We are staying at the Dolphin if that helps. We leave in two weeks so other options are not available (ie Chef Mickey).

TIA

Cape May is one of our favorite breakfast character meals, the food is your standard breakfast fare with carved ham, yogurt bar, bread pudding, blintzes and sausage gravy with bicuits.

I hear Tusker House has a more exotic fare.

Much of the food at Tusker is also your standard fare...There are a couple of different choices but not much...All the basics are there...The selection size is about the same (maybe CM is a bit bigger)....

These are very different places...CM is relaxing and calm....Tusker is very loud and lively...

I find the tables to be very close together at Tusker and the place is very loud...However, the characters are great, the food is very good, the parade is lots of fun...The chracters had trouble interacting because the tables are so close together...They all stuck around long enough just take take a picture....We will go back but we are now prepared for the noise...If you go it means getting on the bus, going through security, and getting back to its location...This will take about 45 minutes....

CM is one of the quiter character meals on property...Character interaction is great....We found all four times we have been that the characters take their time at the tables...We love their beach costumes....The food is excellent for "buffet food"....This one might be better for you because you can walk over from your resort or take the boat and have a more relaxing morning.

I'd cancel Cape May and keep Tusker House. If you have an 8:00 at Tusker House, you'll be done with breakfast in time for park opening and you'll have a leg up on the rest of the crowd to get to the safari. The food at Tusker House is great and the character interaction and parade are really fun.

I haven't been to Cape May yet but we loved Tusker House! Food was excellent - regular food and some different stuff. Great variety and quality! Character interaction was fun. Reminded me a lot of Chef Mickey's. DD got to see Daisy who is one of her favorites and is sometimes harder to find. Going to the safari in the morning is great too. We did the safari first and then breakfast but you could do the opposite.

Enjoy - I am sure either will be great!

Our only character meal was at the Crystal Palace. I'm trying to talk DH into going to Tusker House for breakfast during our upcoming trip in November, but I've heard conflicting reports about whether it is a buffet or a family-style meal. Does anyone know for sure?

It is definitely a buffet. We actually thought the food was very good compared to a lot of the other WDW buffets.

Very true....It is a buffet and the food selection is very good...There are several cold and hot stations set up...The selection is large and the food is done very well.
