Tusker House or Boma Breakfast?

Hello lovely DISers!

I'm trying to decide between the two for my AK day breakfast. Which one would you choose and why? Characters aren't important so you can rule that out of your decision.

We've been to both and I would choose Boma for the food taste, quality and selection. Oh, and the service too. The Tusker House was fine but I would choose Boma over the Tusker House.

I haven't been to Tusker House before (although we might try it on our next trip) but we really enjoyed Boma for breakfast on our last trip. The food was very good.

We did both last year and I liked Boma better just because it was more relaxed, not as loud, and it's just a beautiful place. Plus we loved seeing the animals. We enjoyed the Tusker House (well dd 7 did for the characters) but it was so loud. The food was good. I don't think you could go wrong with either but just depends on the "mood" you're looking for.

I'd choose Boma

I haven't been to TH for breakfast, but Boma was delicious! There was great variety and everything seemed hot and fresh. And since you can book as early as 7:30, you can definitely make it to rope drop!

Another vote for Boma - very good breakfast buffet & is much more relaxed/quiet than Tusker House. We also found the seating at TH to be cramped, but have had no such issues at Boma.

Boma has more breakfast selections, it's better buffet but Tusker House for Character Interaction can't be beat, the food is fresh and quite good, but there are more offerings at Boma!

I always eat breakfast at Boma at least once during every trip to the World. Huge selection of healthy and not so healthy choices, everything tastes amazing, the service is always the best and you just can't beat the atmosphere.

I'd go Boma for breakfast and Tusker House for lunch, with the priority seating option for the Finding Nemo show. That's if you haven't already make AK lunch plans! We have *really* enjoyed the TH lunch each of the two times we've gone - great food selection and service - and the priority seating for the Nemo show was a wonderful perk.

No question - Boma! We do love lunch at Tusker House, but Boma is a must do for every trip.

I had this debate myself a couple of days ago and actually cancelled my Boma and went with Tusker House, simply because of difficulty getting from the Poly to the AKL early in the morning using the Disney transportation. I figured the less hassle, the better. Plus, it will be nice to already be in the park at opening time.

If you have your own car then Boma. If not I would go with Tusker. Both are good but Boma is better.
