Tusker House lunch or Ohana Breakfast?

Ok- trying to decide between the two. We have several reservations already but need to make a choice on these two. Which do you prefer? We did a character breakfast at Animal Kingdom years and years ago- so I’m sure it’s different since then. Never have done Ohana.

If you had to choose between the two- which would you choose and why?

Personally I feel like the Ohana breakfast is slow and not as good as the TH breakfast however I have not been to TH for many years. I also prefer the characters that are at TH over Ohanas but overall I think they are both good and you will have a great experience at either!

Tusker House!!!! The food is SO much better. The character interaction is probably a wash, and there's a parade at Ohana, but the buffet has so many more options and is just better food.

What time is your TH ADR? We like to get the last breakfast ADR time - I think you still pay a little less, but you basically get breakfast AND lunch foods then.

My family does like to get the last breakfast as well because you do pay the breakfast price and you get both foods its a great way to stretch you dinning credits (if you are using the dinning plan).

We have a 12:00 lunch. With Pandora just opening, we have a Fastpass for that and wanted to give ourselves some time in that area before lunch. So we will miss the breakfast time for sure. I was leading towards Ohana, but you guys are convincing me for TH! lol

Wish we could do both- but we really need to draw the line on one because we have several other ADRs already.

Even if not on the DP, it's a great money saver - good food, good characters, and just 1 big meal until dinner!

Definitely Tusker House. Great variety and good food. We found the breakfast at Ohana to be very plain with little variety and the day we went it wasn't even cooked well. More what I'd expect to eat at a QS restaurant.

TH is the better food option and sounds like it fits well into your day. Ohana's real appeal is for dinner. Although, breakfast is a great way to meet LILO and Stitch together (or at least at the same meal).

Agreeing with Tusker House. The variety is really nice and love the ambiance inside. It also allows you to spend more time in the park!

On our last trip we did both of those restaurants: TH lunch and Ohana breakfast. There is no question that TH offers more variety of food. It is a buffet whereas Ohana is family style. The food at Ohana is good but basic: scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage, fruit, biscuits, pineapple bread. I enjoyed both meals and would return to both, however if I could only pick one I think I'd do TH for the bigger food selection. If characters are a concern, Mickey is at both so then your decision becomes Lilo/Stitch/Pluto vs. Goofy/Donald/Daisy.

I agree with the majority here, Tusker House is better unless you have a serious Lilo and Stitch fan in your party. For me the food is much better at Tusker House.

We love both, but if you want more variety go for Tusker House.
