Tusker House-Lunch or Dinner??

Hi everyone!
My husband and I are taking my parents and younger brother and sister (20yo and 18yo) to DW next year. This will be their first time, while my husband and I go as often as we can We want to do one nice TS each day and we always love Tusker House, but have only really gone for breakfast.

My question is, which do you think is better for their first visit, lunch or dinner? None of them are big breakfast eaters so I wanted to do a later meal as our big meal of the day. Do they have the characters for lunch too, or just dinner? Is there a big difference in the food they serve between lunch and dinner?

Characters are there for every meal and I believe the lunch and dinner menus are the same. TH is one of our favorite character meals, enjoy!

Lunch and dinner are exactly the same, I think even same price. Pick whatever time works for your plans.

Just a suggestion, but we love late breakfast ADRs at Tusker. If you get one around 10:45 or so you can have breakfast, pay cheaper breakfast prices, but they will switch over to lunch while you are there and you can try that too. One of our favorite ways to have "brunch"

Can anyone confirm that Mickey is a Tusker House regular character? I feel like they advertise this as Donald’s “show” but I’ve read that Mickey is there as well. I’m visiting with my one year-old nephew this trip and he’s aware of who Mickey is at this point but not everyone else. It’s typically a tradition to do Chef Mickey’s whenever we’ve taken young ones, but I could only snag a super early reservation there. Considering lunch or dinner at Tusker House...

Yep! It’s Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Mickey in safari gear.
