Tusker house - Lunch or Dinner?

I know food is essentially the same, and we are on FD so cost difference doesn't matter to me.

So would you choose lunch or dinner? I have an 11:40 already, but just snagged a 4:10pm dinner too. Now I need to decide which to dump. AK closes at 5pm, and we don't plan to do rope drop that day so I'm wondering if it would be smarter to eat a quick lunch so we can be sure to see/do everything then end the day with dinner close to park closing. This is our only character meal of the trip though, so I dont want to have a bad character experience either. Thoughts?

thanks :)

1) Very little difference between lunch and dinner buffet items.
. . . there is an extra salmon dish
. . . there is an extra beef
. . . there are (I think) two extra MINOR side dishes
2) For $10 price difference, I would stay with lunch.

Thanks for the input :) DH is a big eater so those extra protein dishes would win him over haha!

Since I'm not worried about cost difference (free dining) I'm looking for personal recommendations on lunch vs dinner - overall experience, character interactions, etc.

since you have free dining and arent worried about cost, i'd DEFINITELY go with dinner. Even if its only two extra dishes, its worth the switch! more choice is always better.

RE: character and interaction, there's no difference between lunch and dinner.

I think it's what fits into your plans best and what your family's eating habits are. Considering that you are not doing rope drop, I would go for the dinner. That way you can have your full day at AK, and enjoy a nice relaxing meal with the characters after. We are doing lunch because we are doing RD ( on a EMH) and then having lunch and heading to MK for the afternoon and Christmas party (so we wanted a big lunch)....but in your situation I think dinner would work best. We did breakfast last trip and we love Boma so I'm excited tor try lunch

I'd do dinner, just so you could have flame tree for lunch ; )

Thanks all, I was leaning towards dinner so this is very helpful! I know breakfast and lunch are popular at TH so I wanted to make sure there wasnt something I was missing as far as dinner :)

I'd do dinner. If it were me at lunch, I'd be afraid I'd feel rushed and cut my lunch short because I would want to be sure we wouldn't miss anything in the parks. I say do what you want to during the day, then have a leisurely dinner.
