I have an ADR for lunch at Tusker House, which I was really excited about but I just spoke with my brother who was not keen on the idea. He is not an adventurous diner. So my question is- is there enough plain/mainstream type food at this buffet that would keep a cautious diner happy so I can convince him to let me enjoy all the other good stuff on the menu? I've looked at the menu on allears and it looks like there is a good variety but I wasn't sure if that was a sample of all the foods they serve and that really only 1/4 of that is present on the buffet at any given time.

Thanks!

I love TH for lunch esp. with the Finding Nemo package*! There is something for everyone on the buffet. I'm sure he will find something that he likes.

*If you eat there between a certain time, you will get a ticket for Finding Nemo and won't have to wait in line. Similar to the Fantasmic package at DHS.

There should be plenty on the buffet for him to enjoy, plenty of meats to choose from the breads were great and the salads too. Plus you can try some of the things that you always wanted to.

Thanks for the information. He's already checked out the menu and wasn't pleased. He wants to eat breakfast there because it's "normal breakfast food" and not lunch because it's "weird". My compromise- I made ADRs for both! We'll see if I can drag him there. I'm actually not sure how I convinced him that we should eat at Boma. He may have not seen that menu- I better keep it a secret!

We have done both breakfast and lunch there and while we prefer breakfast lunch was not bad. We did not try any of the "weird" food and we all had plenty to eat. There is a huge variety of "normal" meats, breads, sides and desserts!

We did breakfast and dinner there this past August. My mother is VERY picky and only likes plain, simple food. Even she was able to find plenty of options and was very pleased with the dinner. No, she didn't eat every single thing on the buffet, but neither did I. I'm sure your brother would be fine.

I am a very picky eater.. From the menu there isn't much I would eat either. I LOVE the breakfast tho.. It is AWSOME! I think he would really enjoy it.. I would consider Yak and Yeti or Flame Tree BBQ is AWSOME as well.. VERY VERY good BBQ..

I am a moderately picky eater and I was worried about the Lunch menu at Tusker House. But it was delicious. I found plenty to eat and it was all good. There is a great variety of salads, deli meats and breads, a couple of kinds of chicken and potatoes etc. I didn't eat anything "weird" and I was very happy.

What a bummer if he misses lunch/dinner there, because there is SO much to choose from and everything is delicious!
