I have ressie for Tusker House In September. I made these before the Jungle Book Package was released.
Do I have to add this to my dinning or does everyone get fastpass package with the dinning?

You need to make a new reservation that is specifically for the dining package. I believe it adds an additional $7 per person to the price.

I don't think it's $7 more is it? My info says that the $49 per adult included tax and tip which actually makes it a bit cheaper? Hard to believe it would be cheaper though

As PP said, you need to book a specific package in order to get the FP+. You simply have an ADR and currently will NOT get a FP+

I did what the others said, and rebooked my original meal as a dining package

When is your reservation in September, the JB package only runs until the 5th or 6th

My reservations are September 4th. If I read correctly dining packages opened up May 25th. I called today NOTHING available.

The way Disney is with this RoL your right, the dates of running until the 5th or 6th of September is correct....................................... The year 2017 that is. :rotfl:

I am also trying to figure out the price difference for the package. The website gives a price range for the regular dinner buffet. How can a buffet be a range? Anyone know the actual price?

Restaurant would have regular diners, like the OP's current reservation and package diners in there at the same time.
OP will need to book a package and cancel the regular ADR in order to get the seating at the show.
The only difference at TH for eating purposes (because it's a buffet) is package diners pay a little more for their reserved seat.

The range would be because there is: breakfast, lunch or dinner - child or adult - and seasonal pricing. So they don't put specifics on website.
This restaurant has run all over the place price wise, character wise .... hard to keep up.

Extra charge: Yes, just like Fantasmic package, Candlelight Processional etc.

Based on what I have found for adults -

Breakfast: regular $32, package $37
Lunch: regular $40, package $49
Dinner: regular $44, package $49

Tax and Gratuity are NOT included, so not cheaper.

From Disney:
Tusker House Restaurant
  • Breakfast: $37 for adults and $23 for children 9 years of age and younger (tax and gratuity not included)
  • Lunch or Dinner: $49 for adults and $30 for children 9 years of age and younger (tax and gratuity not included)
  • Includes all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet access
  • Disney Dining Plan eligible
Please note that while Tusker House Restaurant is available for all meal periods with this dining package,
you must dine at this location no later than 2-and-a-half hours prior to your designated performance time.
