Tusker House for lunch...characters?

Is the Tusker meal a character meal for lunch as well? There is an 1130 reservation I would like but only if its for a character meal.

Nevermind, I just saw that it says characters do not make an appearance for this meal.

Even though they don't have characters I would still go. I love Boma and find the Tusker House food to be very similar. It is a buffet so there are choices for everyone. If you have to have a character meal though I guess it doesn't matter, but it is really really good food, the best in AK if you ask me.

Thanks for posting this. We have an 11:35 adr and I was trying to decide if I should cancel since there are no characters. Based on your recommendation I think we'll try it.

I'm planning on trying to get it for lunch during my trip, but only if I can get in during the Finding Nemo priority seating times (1:00 - 1:40). If I can't get this, I'd just as soon try the picnic in the park. We don't typically do TS lunches.
