Tusker House Donald's Safari Breakfast

We've done this breakfast before and have always enjoyed it. We did it last week, and the food was good, but my kids were disappointed about the character change. Donald is now in front with the photographer and we were told that Donald does not sign. When I asked when this change occurred the CM said 6 months ago, and I said that can't be as we we're here in late June and Donald was still inside taking pics at each table and still signing. My kids were disappointed that it seemed like a rushed picture with Donald now and no autographs,, even Cinderella isn't that rushed at CRT.

Daisy, Goofy, and Mickey still appear inside. I felt it was just a way to get folks to buy the picture package since it's not a photopass opportunity. JMHO...

Donald was still inside this past September I hate when CM's give a completely ridiculous answers that i KNOW are wrong. Sorry to hear that!

That's odd. We ate there last week too and the day we ate there, Donald was inside. He came to the table and was part of the dance parade- my DD was right next to him in the parade and he was dancing with her. The outside picture was just the family, no character.

The last week in August he was outside taking photos only. I'm not sure if he came in for the parade, I do agree with the comment about selling more pictures, I fell for it

I ate here last week and Donald was outside, too, which surprised me. We were also rushed and he would not autograph, though his signature was on the photos. They were running really late (45 minutes for people with reservations) so I assume they didn't want people to take the extra time for autographs. They were trying to push the photopass package, too.

They weren't running late on reservation times at all - we had an 8:25 and was there on time, and went right back to get in line for the picture.. it's when we went around the corner and suddenly a CM says for us to stand still and wait,, then suddenly move forward and then stop at a certain place,, it was worse than Simon Says, lol.. I've done alot of character meals and it just turned me off. CRT isn't this bad and I think that's a crazy one in terms of how it's managed to check in at the podium and then get into line for the pic with CInderella.

Hopefully if this is something they are experimenting with, they keep Donald inside. At least with CRT the picture with Cinderella is part of the package you prepay.

OH well... I will keep watching what people say over the next year about this character meal.. I hate to drop it, but if they screw around and ruin it then we will take a break from it.

We were there on July 20th and Donald was inside .

We ate there on November 25th, and Donald was outside taking pictures, but he also came inside. My daughter got a great picture and autograph from Donald.

We were there the first week in Sept...8:05 ADR....Donald was not in the picture outside but he was inside doing autographs and the parade around the restaurant.

We were there in July...Donlad was inside.

We were there on Thanksgiving morning...He was outside...And boy were we not happy...We were there plenty early for our seating at 8:00...The process was very strange...You check in at the front then must check in again near Donald...It seemed like no one knew what they were doing and at the end of it the pic was not all that good...

We have been big fans of Donalds breakfast...Now and even more before it moved to Tusker...We have been maybe seven or eight times...

We were not all that happy this past visit...The food was not hot...I was not even able to eat the eggs I usually love because they tasted very bad...DH said the coffee was terrible and his food was not good at all...The characters felt very rushed...

Neil remains to be the best server in Disney! So he made up for the not so good experience but it is off are list for next trip...Maybe we will go back again but any time soon.
