I am trying to plan a dinner for our night at AK - would like a TS meal. I'm intrigued by the menu at the Tusker House, but we have a few member of our group that are not quite adventerous in their dining tastes! How is the food on the dinner buffet? Would there be enough to satisfy both the brave and the not-so-brave eaters to make this worth the reservation? Or might we be better off eating elsewhere? Thanks! :thumbsup2

we were there in May 2008. Plenty on the Tusker House dinner buffet for non-adventurous. Actually, I'd say you may find that most of the offerings are normal American fare. There's a few "adventurous" offerings but by & large it's just good eats.:thumbsup2

We ate there in March and found that it was fine for both our non-picky eaters as well as the pickier among our group. Our group of 6 included 1 picky adult (me!), 1 picky 14-year-old and 1 extremely picky 6-year-old.

We ate at both Tusker House and Yak & Yeti last trip. For our trip this month, we choose Tusker House over Y & Y.

Thanks everyone! I think we'll give it a go. We were trying to decide between Tusker House and Y&Y, but it sounds like TH will be a good meal, if not the better one from what I have read. All the input is much appreciated!!!
