NOTE1: The buffets are reasonably priced for a Disney park eatery. Although selection
could be more varied, there are menu items for most tastes. Although highly Americanized,
the dishes do have a good African flair. Breakfast is usually crowded (up to 1100 people
served), and ADR's are recommended. There are 4-5 good vegetarian options on the buffet.
Character inter-action is probably the best of any character meal, as they spend an awful
lot of time with the guests. Safari Donald is available for photos but, no autographs. Plus
this is the only place in AK you can see Daisy. Be prepared for the REALLY loud environment,
PS: At breakfast, make sure you drink the Jungle Juice !
NOTE2: shhhhh. Top Secret. OK, maybe not so much. If you have an ADR for up to 9:20am,
you can get admitted through the Main Gate as early as 7:45am, and be seated at Tusker
quickly. (If you are Japanese, you can have an ADR as late as 10:00am and get in as early
as 7:45am, this is through a reciprocal arrangement with Disney Tokyo.)
