Here is a recent thread on Tusker House
Beyond that, I can't say any more. I haven't been, but I'll be there in August. Donald is my son's favorite character, and this is the best shot at seeing him.
I really liked the Tusker House breakfast. It was just DH & I. I love Animal Kingdom, and the theming of the African section of the park is carried through in the restaurant. There's a little story to the architecture, which is fun. The food is set up in a buffet and they have a large selection. They have your standards but also some different stuff to try that have an African twist. They also have a really good mango/orange type juice.
Dh & I don't have kids but still enjoy the character breakfasts. The characters were great and so was the interaction with all the kids there.
BTW, I've been to the Crystal Palace breakfast and I thought it was so-so. But I've only been once and that was 2 years ago.
the kids get noise makers to do a parade kinda like Crystal Palace, the food ranges from traditional to african inspired dishes, it is a buffet, it is the same standard characters, and most of the same staff from the old location.
1900 Park Fare was my favorite character breakfast until I went to Tusker House. The food there is amazing! It's way better than CP and 1900. I can't wait to go back. There was a sweet potato with coconut dish that was incredible.
