There are some positive posts for Tusker House on this forum, so I'm thinking of having breakfast there on our first morning at WDW in October. Our body clocks will still be somewhere near the UK so we will be up bright and early. :Pinkbounc but I'm not sure how to make the best use of this fact.
Can someone give advice on:
  • What time TH opens?
  • What time do they finish serving breakfast?
  • Should we ride popular rides first - e.g. Killimanjaro, Everest?

The alternative is to breakfast nice and early at our resort instead (a CS meal at Mara). How does Mara compare with TH?

Thanks :thumbsup2

Tusker house is a great choice for breakfast! We always do it at least once a trip. It does not always open at park opening, so we usually do the safari first (or grab a fast pass) grabbing a FP for ITTBAB on the way, then have a quiet breakfast while watching all the people zipping past. think sometimes it opens as late as 9:30, but imagine that depends on crowds/season.

Thanks Kaybird. That's just the kind of info I'm after. :thumbsup2
Anybody else got thoughts on this? :)

My DM and I had breakfast here. She is hungry as soon as she wakes up :) so we rushed into the park to get there only to discover that yes, it does not open for a bit. We piddle around until they finally open. The biscuit and sausage gravy was terrific, DM had the breakfast platter with ham. The potatoes were not even fork tender and the ham was kind of tough. We figured that next time we would just go with the biscuits and gravy.
