Tusker House - Breakfast vs lunch

Which is better at Tusker House? Lunch or Breakfast? I know for breakfast you get the character dining - so I am wondering food wise.

IMO it comes down to whether you want breakfast foods or not. Both are equally good as far as quality goes so then it's about the characters and type of food. When we want the characters we go for breakfast and when it's more about our touring plan and preferred type of food (we're not big breakfast food people and prefer to eat after 11:00) then we go for lunch. Quality at both is great.

I haven't been for breakfast, but the lunch is AMAZING! The African-style foods are so delicious... and the desserts - YUM! DH and I actually went for lunch two times last trip because we loved our first lunch so much.

We went to Donald's Safari Breakfast early before park opening so we'd be IN the park finishing up as the park opened. The breakfast foods were great! Loved the African flare! There's also standard breakfast fare and of course Mickey waffles for the kids. The character interaction was absolutely awesome for the kids. Got some great pics, autographs and the kids enjoyed parading around the restaurant with the characters. Haven't tried it for lunch but I'm sure it'll be great. Probably much like Boma at AKL (if you've eaten there) which is yummy!

We went to the Tusker House Donald Safari breakfast and loved it. We enjoyed the safari theme to it, as it's much different than any of the other character meals in WDW. We were very pleased with the food selection and our server was really great!

Have never done lunch (yet), but have done breakfast twice and loved it. We schedule it for 8, before the park opens. The food is delicious and the characters are great. Doing the lunch would be a nice break in the middle of the day though. I don't think you'll be disappointed either way.
