Tusker House Breakfast and Snack

We needed a something to hold us over until our 3 p.m. Thanksgiving Dinner at WP's Cafe. I also had a CS credit to use. We always have a light breakfast in our room before heading to the parks.

My kids decided to each have a cinnamon roll which they devoured and pronounced very good. I ordered the scrambled egg platter with bacon, biscuit, and home fries. It was good and I ended up sharing with my bottomless pit boys. There was plenty to share! Probably not a good use of my credit money-wise but the food was tasty and hot. Better than not using the credit at all, I figured.

We love Tusker House but didn't end up dining there this trip for lunch. I find the dining room to be clean and spacious. It's also a bonus to step outside and find drummers or some sort of entertainment going on!

Thanks for the review :)
I ate there (for lunch) for the 1st time in Dec and had the roasted chicken and really enjoyed it. Sounds like breakfast was yummy, too!

We have always enjoyed Tusker House for lunch but several years ago we discovered what an incredible value it was at breakfast. You recieve a generous plate of eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes, and biscuit for somewhere in the neighborhood of $5.00. A family of 4 can share two of these and still leave very full.

Thanks for the review :) We love Tusker House for lunch. It's one of our must dos :flower3:

We didn't know that Tusker house served breakfast so it was a great surprise when we were there on Christmas day. The food was excellent. I believe that the cut off time for breakfast was 11:00

We tried it for the first time for breakfast on 1/15 and really enjoyed it as well (we've done Donald's breakfastsaurus and liked that too).
We waited in line outside a few minutes and then realized we could actually go inside and order which was really nice. We returned there that afternoon for lunch and loved it. My only recommendation is if you get a table outside , get one further back from the shows. We were in one of the front tables and had a couple people move our stroller, putting drinks on our table (I was floored but didn't say anything), and nearly having their backside on the table.

Sounds fantastic ~ Thanx for posting.

We (by accident) had breakfast at Tusker House a couple trips back (I know that sounds weird -- how do you eat breakfast by accident, right? ), and it has become one of our favorite breakfast spots! We like to go on the safari and then stop for breakfast. Love it!

We always stop to eat here after riding the safaris. Love the cinnamon buns and coffee. Going to have to think up a new strategy now that E:E will be in the park.
