? Tusker House b'fast before park opens

If we land an 8:00 TH ressie, how do we get there from POP? Are the busses running then? And how to we get there if the park is not open yet?

The buses better be running, we have an 8am TH as well!!!! Park opens at 9 that day.

The resorts know that there are Character breakfast available before park opens. I would suggest you get to the Animal Kingdom bus stop outside POP by 7:15 (at the latest- 7am if possible). They will get you to Animal Kingdom for your breakfast.
When you get there, you will see a line as you approach Animal Kingdom, this will be the line for Character breakfast. They will let you in the park about 10-15 minutes prior to your reservation time. When you enter, stay to the left thru the Oasis, follow the signs to Africa and as you approach the tree of life, again, stay to your left. As you cross over the river into Africa you will see Tusker House on your left. Check in, they will guide you to Donald for a photo and then to your table.

We love Tusker House breakfast....it is a MUST for our family, every trip.

The resorts always have buses running from 6:30am for those people who have early reservation. Just take the bus to AK and when you get to the entrance you tell the CM you have reservations.

I love entering the park before it opens. As soon as you finish your breakfast the Safari is just next door and the animals are out in the morning. After the safari go to expedition everest and ride it. in the morning the wait will be very short. have fun.

Any idea what time we should board a bus to make an 8am rez? If we are out front for a bus at 7am is that enough time? (For reference I am staying at POP)

The busses will get you there in time and there is a CM at the gate with a list of all reservations. I have an 8:10 ressie at TH and afterwards you go right to the safari.
