Tusker House before Animal Kingdom opens

Anyone out there gone to Donald's breakfast at the Tusker House before the park opens? What is the earliest ADR available?

Never been before but we have an ADR for this April at 8:05am. I was told that is the earliest seating.

We went last year before park opening...I think it was 8:15. When we went it was in Jan and I beleive the earliest seating was at 8am. They have your name on a list so you are allowed early entry into the park. There is also a bus that you can take from your resort to the character breakfasts, even though the park isn't open yet.

I want to add on a question to this. OP, sorry for the mini-hijack.

I was able to make ADRs for our upcoming trip the day after we had evacuated for Gustav. I wanted the 8:05AM seating for Tusker House. By the time I was able to get on the phone, the earliest time available for 4 was at 8:25AM. Does it really matter that it is not 8:05? I have been thinking about this over and over again since September. My thinking is that since I am not waiting for anyone to finish eating for me to be seated that the likelihood that I would be seated early is very high.

What do you all think?

I think you are on the right track. Take the 8:25 and show up early. If anyone rudely doesn't keep their ADR you may get in earlier. Even if you don't get in until 8:25 I think you will still get the jump on the majority of people because you are already through the gates and ready to go.
