Tusker House B-fast adr question

Just when I thought I had all of my adr's planned for our early Sept trip I decided on a whim this afternoon that maybe a pre-park opening adr at Tusker House on our Animal Kingdom day would be a good idea. I checked online and snagged an 8:20 on a 9:00 opening day. It will be me, my DS (20), and his friend (19)...character interaction is not a priority for us (we're kinda in it for the head start to Kilamanjaro Safari). Is it reasonable to think that we'll be in and out before 9am or should I keep trying for an earlier time? How early will we be admitted at the front gate to walk back for our 8:20 adr? What time should we set off from our resort (CSR)...we'll be using the WDW bus transportation. Thanks in advance for the help!

You should be good with this time. They will start letting everyone with an 8-ish ADR in around 8:00. I would be at the CSR bus stop waiting at 7:00. As soon as you get your drinks, ask for your check so that you can leave as soon as you are finished eating. The Safari is is about a 2 min. walk at a leisurely pace. We do the same thing every trip, have fun!

If characters aren't the priority, you should definitely be out by 9. If you are at the gate by 8 and ask for your check as soon as you are seated like pp said, you should be good.
