Tusker House ADRs available, opens 11/16

Tusker House's new buffet will open on 11/16, and ADRs are available now.

DW found this on the WDWMagic site, called earlier this afternoon, and was able to book us for 12/3.

I'm suprised, but that looks like the old information. Tusker House has been converted to a buffet, so I presume its now considered table service.

It also offers a character breakfast (Donald's Breakfastsaurus is moving, don't know if the name will remain.)

It's probably still correct as of right now, but they're supposed to be changing mid-Nov. I have an ADR for the character breakfast in Dec for 1 TS credit. I would assume that at that point it will be entirely TS not CS.

I called yesterday to make ADR for Tusker house on Dec 10 and was told by the cm that they don't make ADR's for that restaurant. I wanted a lunchtime reservation and it seemed as though he took his time and checked the computer. He said just show up. Can someone tell me more?

The CM was mistaken. It's a table service restaurant and they do take ADRs. I have an ADR there. Call back -- you'll get a different CM this time.

My DU agent called a few days ago and got us an ADR there for the end of November. It used to be CS, but will now be TS.

Any view on the menu?

So the Donald Duck Character breakfast is just moving to this place?

You guys think the ADR will really be needed in the 12/17 to 12/21 period?

BTW, any suggestions on places that we should take our 3 yr old son on his first trip to the World?

When Tusker House reopens, it will be a table service (buffet) restaurant. It should be taking ADRs and the cast members at Disney Dining should know this.

There will be a character breakfast buffet there called Donald's Safari Breakfast. This will replace the Donald's Breakfastosaurus.

Other meals will not include characters.

What I want to know is...at what point will DDE no longer be good at the AK counter service restaurants, now that it has a table service?
