this is new since last trip can someone fill me in please.where how long what details thanks daveb

Its at Living Seas in Epcot and lasts about 15-20 minutes.
It really is an absolute "dont miss", a laugh a minute!!

The best thing to tell you is that it is a must see attraction. I love to share information, however, this is 1 attraction that you will love even more if you don't know what to expect. It is for all ages. If you have younger children they will be able to sit up close and be close to Crush. Trust me you will love this attraction.

They let all the kids sit in front, and crush the turtle picks children out of the audience to talk to, addresses them by name................then takes questions and answers them, it is funny to watch the kids faces when he repeats their name and says Yo Dude! Both of my kids got to talk to crush during our trip in Nov. I suggest getting there early, the line gets kind of long, but worth the wait. And there are lots of things to see in the living seas, one parent can wait in line while the other takes the kids around to look.

OK, I don't want to ruin the "magic", but how does Crush know the kids' names?

Have you seen the Talking fountain at Islands of Adventure? It kinda works the same way. I really dont want to ruin it for those who havent seen it..... it really is brilliant!

OK, apparently I missed the talking fountains, too. :confused3 Now you got me SUPER curious! I guess I'll just wait and see! Is it at least something I can figure out when I see it, or am I going to be going crazy trying to figure out "how did they do that" for hours afterwards!?

He asks them what their name is -- "hey dude in the blue shell" (t-shirt). Then he can address them by name, ask them where they are from, etc. My 28 year old daughter took her 5 & 7 year olds. I think my daughter was the one that was the most impressed. I love Turtle Talk -- something for everybody to enjoy together!

Another vote for crush!!

On our recent trip my dad wanted to skip it and I convinced him othewise, because my nephew hadn't seen it and my DS loves it. Needless to say, he was coaching DS and nephew about who would be a dude or dudette.

Last night my DS told me I was a dudette, it was too funny...completely out of the blue, I was emptying the dishwasher.

This show is completely enchanting! I am a woman in my 50's who doesn't even have any children, and yet, I enjoyed the show so much, it left a tear in my eye. I saw it twice to make sure it really was different each time. It is well worth the wait.

Crush was absolutely, positively, my FAVORITE attraction on my whole vacation. Its a MUST see!!! Everyone will love it, its amazing!

This was one of my favorties too. We would have seen it over and over again if the lines werent so long for it. Dont miss it!!

We just got back from a long weekend trip. We saw Turtle Talk and LOVED IT!! It really was amazing. I would love to know HOW they do that. :confused3

Becuz, it really is Crush! Like the CM told my wife when we saw it in May, they signed Crush to a long term contract. Too funny. :rotfl2:
Enjoy. :cool1:

Don't miss it you will love crush Dude!

Another thumbs up! :)

It is very cute and very entertaining. I think they should consider adding a second theater or something. We had heard about it and just kind of stumbled upon it last year in May, and we recommend it to everyone now. Everything that all of the above posters have said is totally true!

You will so enjoy it!

The theater is small, so do get in line early. A cast member told me it holds 150 but I don't know if they were actually counting people as they let them in. But that gives you a rough guide of how long you will be waiting in line.

From the tone of your question, it sounds like you think Crush is a mind-reading act. ;)

Its not a spoiler to clear up this idea.
Crush does not KNOW the kids names BEFORE they tell him (he asks the name of anyone he talks to), but AFTER THAT he calls them by name. (That alone is amazing.)

Crush (even though he's on a Video Screen) can fully hear, see and interact in real-time with anyone in the room.
And, DUDE, he is hilarious!

Don't miss it.

Last year, we had a terrific experience with Crush! My DD12, a pre-teen and very self concious, was talking with him and he asked what she liked to eat. She told him chocolate. He asked what was chocolate and she said Brown Stuff! :rotfl: Can you see where this is going? He makes a horrible face and says to her "Noooooooo, dudette, stay away from the brown stuff!" It was a riot!! :goodvibes

DON'T MISS!!
