Turtle Question?

Any turtle experts here tonight?
We have had 2 Red Eared Sliders for about a year. They're doing great. But my DH took the kids to the creek today where they caught some minnows, a tiny crayfish and a huge pollywog...he wants to add them to the tank. :stir: Wouldn't it put the turtles in danger? I'm concerned about bacteria, too many creatures in one tank..or am I being too cautious?
Thanks for the advice,

I used to feed my turtle goldfish. I would think the minnow would become dinner! Not sure about the crayfish and polywog though. I would think they would be okay together if there is enough room in the tank.

My turtles will attack and eventually eat anything smaller than them. Considering my largest ones are about 9 inches across, there isn't much I can put in the tank that isn't smaller than them.

According to my DH they will not harm the turtles. But the turtles will eat them.
