Turning an ADR for 5 into an ADR for 6?

Ok...so, we are going to WDW in August on the free dining plan. My wife, my son and myself are under one reservation and my brother-in-law and his girlfriend are on another reservation.

We made all of our ADR's for all the days for 5 people.

Now, my brother-in-law's girlfriend's sister is thinking (ie. planning on) coming along too. Of course, it's no problem to add her to the resort reservation and she gets free dining too. But now I have a party of 6 for our sit down meals and all of our ADR's are for 5 people.

Am I in trouble? Is there a way to expand our ADR's? Or should I just show up at the resturants and ask for an additional seat?

What do I do? :confused3

Thanks.

Eric

You should be fine! We've added an extra 3 people before (even at completely booked restaurants). When you check in at the podium, just let them know you have an extra person. They have always accomodated us! Have fun! :thumbsup2

I would think that it would probably be fine to ask at the podium, as most places likely sit a party of five at a table that can accomodate six.

We showed up with two extra people at CRT and it was fine. They found us a table for 10 instead of 8. This was lunch.

We have had this happen to us on a few occasions, and added a person with no problem, at the podium. Chances are this late in the game, you will have difficulty changing ressies, so go with what you have, and with no worries.
