Sounds like a very wonderful birthday and evening for you - celebrating with DH and friends. Too funny with your reaction the day after but that's okay. It was surely worth it.

I remember being so upset for six months prior to my big 4-0 but once the day came I never looked back. I also had a wonderful day with wonderful surprises by family and friends.
