We had saved MGM because it seemed practical to combine MGM and Epcot days since they're so close together, so we were all looking forward to today. However, because we had lots of time, we went for a swim before heading off to Epcot to check in with the Wonders of Life building, do a bit more shopping, and maybe a few other attractions if we felt like it.

One thing we felt like was trying Le Cellier, since we had heard so much about it. So I hit the nearest payphone, and dialed the numbers for PSs (55? 88?). No problem getting a PS for 11:45. The cheese soup was every bit as good as I had heard, and I washed it down with some of those great bread sticks and a Maudite beer (Canadian microbrew). DH and DS enjoyed their lunches as well, and this may well become an Epcot tradition for us. Although, we had to laugh over the breadsticks from 3 regions of Canada - the Yukon, the Prairies and Kitchener-Waterloo. :rotfl2:

We were at our leisure at Epcot today, since we knew we'd be staying late tomorrow night, without any need to worry about crowds, so we checked out the Living Seas changes. We enjoyed Turtle Talk, and Bruce's area, but nothing was really as exciting to me as the actual living creatures on display. Afterwards it was off to the International Gateway to catch a boat to MGM. DS sacked out on the way, and woke up thirsty, so we headed to the Tune-In Lounge for some BEvERages. After that, we visited our favourite stunt show cast, and did a quick Star Tours. We ate at the ABC Commisary (curry -- well, sort of -- at last), got our EMH wristbands, and headed to Fantasmic.

Important tip: don't assume that, because it's the off-season, you can arrive 1/2 hour before Fantasmic and get seats. I'm guessing because it was EMH, everyone had the same idea. Anyway, we couldn't even get into standing room, so instead we did TOT. I had been nervous about the seatbelts instead of lapbars, but I really like it the new way. DS was not so happy. He did, however, develop a whole new appreciation for RNRC. We also did GMR, which we missed last time because the lineup was never short enough. This time we bit the bullet and waited about 30 minutes, and finally got on. I enjoy this ride, but it really would benefit from FPs. We did the thrill rides again, hit the Villains Store, and headed back to AKL.

Today's towel animal: A turtle. Coincidence? I think not. Just how hooked in is Disney surveillance? ;)

Kungaloosh!
