Whatever age children are on arrival day is the age they are considered for the whole trip, correct?

A friend of ours is taking her family to Disney later this year and her 2 year old will be turning 3 years old the day after they arrive. She's worried they will give her trouble at the gates about not having a ticket.

Does she need to purchase a ticket for him when they get there to have starting the next day? No right?

Thanks!

We took our DD for her 3rd birthday almost 3 years ago. We arrived the day before she turned 3 and she required no ticket or meal plan the entirety of the trip. We need pay for a few meals at certain places, but otherwise, no questions asked. Have a great trip!

They normally don't question kids sitting in strollers or in arms of parents from that I've seen. I've watched them walk through the turnstyles or gate with only the 1 ticket.

unless something has changed my niece who turned 3 during the trip got an MB too; she loved her pink "Mickey bracelet". It did open the door to their room and that was it.
