Turning 3 during a trip

I know I'm planning ahead as dd is only 7mo, but I was thinking about a trip for her third birthday. Hers and dd2s bdays are only 5 days apart, and I thought it would be fun to have a trip the week of their bdays.
If dd turns three during the trip, do we need to pay for park tickets for the days after she turns three, and do we need to pay for her at meals after the big day. I didn't know if they would consider her two during the whole trip since she is two at the beginning.

when I booked our trip, I asked about this as dd2 turns 10 during our trip, and they said she would be considered 9 the whole trip.

Whatever age your child is at check-in is what Disney considers them to be for the whole trip. When we went in March, our boys were 2 at check in and turned 3 on our 5th day. They were treated as 2 for the whole trip. Even at Chef Mickey's where we celebrated their 3rd b-day.

I booked our August trip (for when my daughter turns 3) online. When I called back to add on additional nights I was told that after her birthday (they asked if I was celebrating a special occassion) then I would have to pay for all of her meals and her park passes for those days she was 3. I imagine if I hadn't told them then I wouldn't have to pay....

We celebrated our oldest DS 3rd b-day at WDW. They treated him as 2 the entire time since we checked in the day before his birthday.

Bumping to see if anyone else had experience with this. I guess I could just mention it on the phone for ressies. Then again, it always depends on the CM knowledge.

My sister is turning 10 on our trip... from a child to an adult, and the CM said that her tickets and meals would be treated as a child until our next trip.

All of my reservations were made over the phone, so you'll be fine.

Good to know! We are going to be planning a trip next October right before my DSs third bday and now I feel better knowing he can be there for his actual bday!
