Our daughter and another couple will be staying in a studio at BWV in May. Could they request Turn-Down service where housekeeping would pull down the sofa and make it up each evening? I've never requested this and am not sure it is available. I'm sure there would be a cost, but not sure how much. Any experience in this area?? ::MickeyMo

I don't think turn down service is available at DVC resorts. You may check with housekeeping at your resort, since BWV shares facilities with a standard Disney hotel.

Thank you, Chuck... I didn't think it was available, but I will check with housekeeping at the Boardwalk.

I'm just curious why would you need turn down service??

The OP thought it would be nice to have them to pull out and make up the sleeper sofa at night, which actually is a nice idea.

The sleeper sofa is already made up. You simply open it, get the pillows out of the closet, and you're ready for bed. Personally I don't find it that difficult, and it's better to not have the sleep sofa opened up until you're ready to go to sleep. It takes up too much room in the studio in the "open" state. In the morning you straighten up the bedding, fold it up and put the pillows back in the closet.

We had to make up our sleeper sofa. We had to dig out all the blankets, sheets and such. It wasn't a pain but we did leave them there for the duration of the trip so we wouldn't have to assemble it each night.
